Expertise: Communication educator, written
and spoken English language educator, communication coach,
speed reading, diversity and conflict management.
Roz Townsend is an international speaker, author and trainer.
She has spent her working life helping people achieve their
educational and learning potential. She has taught in the
area of communication from kindergarten to lecturing at the
university level and all stages in between.
Her recent projects include:
- the first foreign corporate coach engaged
to train officials in the State owned Guangdong Provincial
Publishing Group, one of China’s largest publishers
- facilitating the letter of agreement of mutual co-operation
between Chinese and Indian publishers at the Frankfurt Book
Fair.
- preparing 50 delegates of the Guangdong
Provincial Publishing Group for the Frankfurt Book Fair -
within a seven day time frame.
- teaching more than 5000 people the techniques of speed
reading and improved comprehension;
- writing a bi-weekly internet article for
3000 subscribers on using the brain effectively;
- publication of her books in the United
States, Turkey, Greece, China, New Zealand, Slovenia, Croatia,
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and of course Australia;
- her business as a Mediator- helping others
resolve their conflicts constructively;
- her work as a life coach using the latest
technologies to help people achieve more of their dreams;
- facilitation of The Diversity Game –
the world’s leading learning tool in developing anti-discriminatory
attitudes and behaviour;
- regular talk-back host of radio programs
on ‘Learning and Life ‘ with local and national
broadcasters;
- Awarded an Austrade grant to Japan and
Korea to promote her books.
Roz uses her training in Speed Reading as a metaphor
and says:
'It's so exciting when people experience how easy it
is to at least double or triple their reading speed and improve
their comprehension. When they do this with reading what else
is possible in their lives? Roz believes that:
We all have incredible potential to learn and achieve,
it all depends on our attitude to change.
This is the driving passion which has helped Roz to help
so many others. Learning is a life long process.
